  Not a long ago my good acquaintance and young fashion designer from Saint-Petersburg Kate Why-Not sent me that adorable new wideo with Kate Moss. What can i say...Does she ever age?! Don't think so..I can feel that her spirit is Forever Young (!!!). And she still looks incredible..Blonde, Brunette, whatever! Short, Long Haired..No matter! Maybe she is not a beauty idol, but for me she always was a human goddess in fashion. Rewinding my memory..to my 13th birthday..back then i wished to be like her.
  Now Kate is 37 years old (born 16 January 1974) but she still looks great, and she's still a  total blam-blam. This new photosession proves it one more time. Kate is a master of transformations.

To say that i like what i see is to say nothing. I'm wholly mesmerized by Givenchy, especially the haute couture collections. Long long ago i've grasped that fashion starts on the edge of functionality. High fashion. Images that passed through the inner world of the designer are now embodied in his models. This is not only a gown, it's the idea, an image and sometimes even more. No more words..

Ke$ha's super-strange outfits.

I love extravagancy. For me it's not about fashion, it's about style, about expressing your inner personality. But there's always a thin line between art and lack of taste..and Ke$ha doesn't feel that line. She's an absolutely sweet face and rebel, but should work out more on her outlooks. As for now it looks Ewwww..! What's your opinion on this?

Sometimes there's no need to buy something expensive to look stylish, especially when you're in your teens or early 20's! Agree? Of course we can mix simple monochrome items with something crazy, flamboyant, cyber-savvy, artsy. We can make a little step forward and use our imagination. Besides, nowadays we have the widest choice ever. I'd really like to see more groomed, intelegently-dresses, people on the streets of Saint-Petersburg.

A Name In Fashion: Anthony Vaccarello

Actually i was a bit late noticing this talented designer and missed 4 years of his creative work on fashion fields. But as some wise-man said: "it's never too late". So when i  first saw his s/s2010 company i was totally hypnotized by the items he has made. The collection consisted of jackets and magnificint body suits. But it was enought to say: this is a real talent in fashion industry.

Anthony Vaccarello is a Paris based fashion designer who was born in Brussels in 1980 from Italian parents. In 2006 he graduated from La Cambre-Mode in Belgium and won the Grand Prize of the International Hyeres Festival the same year.

After this victorious first step he worked for some short time for Fendi where he met Karl Lagerfeld. Then he decided to try himself working on a solo-collection under his own name. The first rays of luck haven't made him wait for too long - his second collection was showcased during the January Paris Couture Fashion Week 09 in a famous boutique "Maria Luisa" in Paris.  

 "The collection has a modern sensibility that contrasts a generous sensuality against cold surrealism. Vaccarello's collection are true pieces of Art, playing with strong contrasts, sheers and deconstructed cuts." - someone has said about his works at that time. So now it's all clear why Ann Demeulemeester has appreciated true value of his talent on the Hyeres Festival. His third collection was presented at Joyce's Gallery during the recent October FW. As for me - i'm in love with his f/w 10 collection inspired by Lou Doillon who became "the face" of the whole lookbook.
